Valentine’s – a day that love is in the air! And a day that we express our love, love from our heart. The heart represents our feelings of love and I want to share my heart with you. I doodled this simple heart on an art journal page I worked on recently.
Express your love, but not just to your significant other – share it with your parents, your children, and friends along with a Valentine hug. And don’t forget to hug your pets – they give us so much love too!
These other talented artists are participating in a Valentine’s Day international blog hop. So please check out their blogs for extra Valentine art –

I wish you a happy Valentine’s Day!
I wish each of you a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
And I want to share my very first Valentine. My mother was great at keeping things and I found my first Valentine in some things she kept for me. This card* was sent to me by my dad on my first Valentine Day. And I guess you can call it a mixed media card since the tuff of hair on the girl is some type of fiber.
Its wonderful looking throught all the saved things from my early years, thing I would not know about or remember.
Have a wonderful day and keep your treasured cards!
* The card copyright ownership is Rust Craft of Boston.
I’m running a little behind in posting this since Valentine’s Day was a week ago. But I wanted to show you this Valentine Day Table runner that I designed for Quilter’s World magazine.
This is a project that you can plan for next year for Valentine’s Day , or use year round with color changes to match your decor. Hearts are great for any day of the year!
I wish you all a happy day!
