What a sweetheart! And she’s wearing her new Sweetheart birthday dress.

I love hearing from readers of my blog with projects they have made with my fabrics or designs.  Its always fun to see the projects!  I just have to show you the adorable dress Jessica made for her equally adorable daughter Raelyn.  In this case, it was a special honor for me, as Jessica made the dress for Raelyn’s birthday dress for her 2nd birthday.

Jessica chose the pink cow print fabric from the Sweetheart Ballerina fabric line that I designed for Quilting Treasures.  Raelyn loves cows and also had a pair of new pink cowgirl boots (aren’t they just too cute!).  Jessica made the dress to match the boots but also made it reversible as well.  She used the green ballerina fabric for the reverse side.

It looks like Raelyn had a wonderful birthday and is a fabulous model as well!  Thanks to Jessica for sharing the pictures.

Have a wonderful day and many more happy birthday’s to Raelyn!

  1. Hi Phyllis,

Loved your Halloween crafts this year. Over at the About.com blogs, we thought we’d put together a graphic holiday blog roundup if you’re interested. It’s a craft roundup, so any tutorials or craft how-to’s and patterns are welcome to take part.

Everyone will be posting a group of holiday crafts each Thursday until the date of Christmas Eve. Shoot me an email to join up if you’re interested.

  2. Hi Phyllis,
Thank you so much for the beautiful material for Raelyn’s birthday outfit. It made a very beautiful dress and everyone commented on how pretty it is. She is a “Cow” girl and I looked everywhere for cow material. I am so thankful for your website and most thankful to have came in contact with such a wonderful person. I can’t wait to order more material from you in the future. I love homemade outfits and adorable material is hard to find. Thank you so much for everything!!!!
